Q: Has anyone gotten this to connect to eero router? i've had issues with the broadlink rm pro not wanting to connect even after turning off 5ghz mode.

I couldn't get it to work at all. I gave up and returned the box. In addition, there's no one to help you.

Q: Is there a recommended hdmi switcher with ir to use with this?

I don't know about recommended but I have a Gana 3 in 1 out switcher. Initial testing was about as good as I hoped. Time well tell. Only snag was the switch I bought said the remote was IR so I bought a broadlink rm 3 mini. The remote is actually RF so I bought the rm 4 pro which supported both IR and RF.

Q: I have 7 amp brand motorization shades 2 different remotes in 2 different rooms. will one device operate all?

If IR controlled no if there is a wall or barrier. If they are RF it depends on the range and what the walls are made of. Two units would be the best idea, but I can understand wanting only one if that would work.
