If you are buying the exact size of your rug, don’t make the mistake I did and not trim (enough) beforehand. We ordered a 10x14 rug but when it came, the measurements showed the rug was slightly less than that. I had to cut a good deal off the rug pad.However, I cut the pad right to the edge of the rug and you could see the rug sitting on top of the pad. It bothered me so I tried to trim just a little more. Then started to add some rug tape. Standing back I could then see pieces of rug tape and still parts of the pad. It was looking sloppy!Finally, I took a full inch off the pad and used long strips of rug tape along the edges of the rug and now the rug looks perfect. (I googled it and read the pad should be 1-4” shorter than the rug.)Moral of the story, trim enough of this pad so you don’t see it underneath which takes away from the aesthetics! Overall, makes our rug more cushiony and it’s definitely not going anywhere. I’m glad we went with the 1/4 inch because any thicker and the edges would not have laid as flat. Great product!

I bought this pad mainly because it's made in USA, so I paid up, there were others ones that were $30 cheaper. Purchased an 8 x 10 that had to be cut to size. Definitely stays in place, no oder upon opening. Elevates the carpet with nice cushion as it's 1/4 inch thick which is plenty. Very happy with the results and would recommend.

Very good product. The size was spot on. There's no chemical smells or shedding of felt. It makes my inexpensive area rug feel more luxurious. I like the thick rubber backing as I use it directly over my subfloor which adds more insulation and sound dampening to the room. I highly recommend this product and the seller was very helpful.

This foam rug pad is exactly what I was looking for to add some cushioning to my living room area rug. The rug I have is pretty thin, so walking on my hardwood floors all the time was uncomfortable and hurting my knees; this foam rug pad is thick, cushiony, and provides the support I needed to comfortably walk on my rug and even lay down on it without straining my feet/knees! The quality is great. I removed a star because I wish it had some adhesive to stick to my rug instead of just laying flat on top of it- sometimes my rug shifts on top of the foam pad, and I have to adjust it back into place. To fix this issue, you can get some carpet/rug tape to put on the corners of your rug to stick it in place. Otherwise, I would've rated it 5 stars. The size of the foam pad was accurate to the size of my rug and it didn't smell bad or have an odor when it arrived like some other reviews have mentioned. I'm happy with my purchase!

Excellent!!! Love it. I purchased an 8x10 rug needed a pad read about the pad I purchased came in a very timely manner. Opened it last night and added the rug. Fits great and very comfy barefoot. I would definitely purchase another one.

Our old rug pad lost its grip after 4-5 years, so I bought a new one. It’s such a blessing to have a grippy rug pad again! Love it.

Great quality and perfect for my thin rug. The size was exact and there is no slippage.

Excellent product. We have ordered several and they work well. On first opening the box there may be an odor coming from the rubber backing, but that goes away if you let it air out.
