Does what it says on the advert/box at a brilliant price!Installed two months ago. Works a treat watching my front door. Is indoors looking out of a window. Works well at night too aided by a very bright sensor operated led outdoor light. Easy to set-up, good App, compact, no unnecessary not needed bits. Hope it lasts considering the low price.

This is a great camera for the price. It allows me to check on my flat or kids even when I’m not in the same room. Installation was easy, and the app is straightforward to use.The sound and video quality are pretty good, and I like that I can use an SD card for storage. When it fills up, it automatically overwrites old recordings, which gives me peace of mind. The cloud storage option is also useful and reasonably priced.The only downside is that to keep continuous recording enabled, I have to keep notifications on. This means I constantly receive alerts for any detected movement or sound, which can be quite annoying.Overall, a solid camera with good features. I’d give it five stars if not for the notification issue.

I’ve had 2 of these cameras previously and the old ones were quite cheap but did last 3yrs so time for newer model and new cameras and I didn’t hesitate to buy these again after having such good quality first time.I’ve seen a lot of others cameras that are much more expensive & often come with expensive subs.Tapo cameras are so easy to use, set up & work out. I did mine myself! You get step by step instructions on what to do via the Tapo App stage by stage ( easy ans for dummies) and takes literally 5 mins! You do need micro memory cards for these so purchase a half decent one.I had memory cards in old ones I simply inserted into new cameras. You need to move the middle section up and you’ll see where memory card slot is.You connect it to your wifi following the prompts and it demonstrates on the screen what you have to do to connect it to your wifi so be sure you know your wifi password to hand! You’ll need that.Place it where you want it and use the pan/ tilt on the app to place its fixed focus where you want it. The picture quality is excellent and night vision picture quality is very good.I use ours as a doggy cam so I keep an eye on my two spaniels when at work but you can talk through the app to the the unit if you need to communicate with someone in that room when you’re not there. I don’t talk to my dogs as it would set them off looking for me lolThere is a ‘privacy’ mode on the camera app ( you can name each room) and the cam is displayed as ‘kitchen’ for example and has a screen with camera 🎥 icon you can literally tap for privacy mode ⛔️ enabling you to turn off recording when you want privacy & this is so easy to do! I’ve uploaded photos to show you the clarity of images and it detects me and my dogs walking past the living room. I’ve marked the photos to show. The + symbol I’ve circled, adds another camera and you can have them side by side viewing too..Overall, a brilliant bit of kit for very little money and would give the big boys a run for their £££. It does what it’s intended for, very reliable and no issues at all. Simple to use.I totally recommend this and I bought 2 on prime deal day! Bargain!If you’re looking for something really simple, easy to use, captures motion of everything (you can turn off notifications for motion but it’s still records) then this is it. If you want it to capture your back/ front garden/ driveway, you can invert them upside down n fixings come with them to put them on a ceiling. The leads are very very long to the plug so you’ll be fine inverting on a ceiling n trunking the thin lead down a wall etc ..Hope this helps you decide.

Pretty impressed with this so much so that I bought a second one to give me coverage of front and rear of house. I have mine on window sills pointing out through the glass. This renders the night vision unuseable, but by setting it to day mode it means that video is ok with the street lights and even better when the security light comes on. When used in night vision mode for indoor view the pictures pretty good too. There is a very slight picture lag but it's not really a problem. Operating from my phone is not too difficult to set up. Mind you having said that I've tried to share a night time video here but haven't figured out how to do that.Aha! The getting it from camera to phone was easy but it looks like another App is needed for getting it from the phone.

I was a little nervous/sceptical of this camera - how good could it be for the price? Well, the answer is very good, very good indeed! Great quality images, really good night vision, pan/tilt function worked really well too. App was easy to work too which is a bonus. No lag, sound quality good both in terms of recording and when speaking through it, which is fun to freak people out.Also worth noting once the app is installed and working, it automatically seems to start your 'free trial' of recordings and access to them etc. And then it lets you know when it's up and you either need to set-up payments or just use a SD card.So the only thing to consider is that this one is wired, and whilst the wire is long, that does limit its potential uses. But I guess that's why it's the great price it is. For indoor use, it's amazing.
