Bought this to replace an original T470s battery that finally failed. If replacing your own battery sounds daunting, don't sweat it. The battery came with a small screwdriver and tool to help you get the case apart, and once you do that it's straight-forward, and it's an exact fit. This was a much less expensive option than OEM, and the run-time on the laptop is back to something approaching when it was new, which is several hours. Given that the T470s is now a years-old platform, I was just looking to extend the life of mine for another year or two for as little money as possible. This accomplished that goal.

I have a T470s, and this battery was initially seen by my laptop after installation. I havent needed my laptop much so it sat a while in between uses, but I think I've used it only 3 or 4 times before my computer could no longer see it. It no longer charges, and my laptop gives me an error every time I start it now, with only one battery working. It just suddenly died. I reinstalled it, Updated things, cycled... nothing. I guess you get what you pay for.

Its going to be almost a year since I installed the replacement battery (Lenovo T460S) and i have no complains. It holds the charge well. over all a great buy! OEM cost about $80

Replaced both batteries. We'll see how it goes over time. That's typically the real test for these after market replacements.

After installing the battery in a Lenovo t470s, it never charged. It wasn't installed until the return window closed and the vendor store had no mechanism to request a replacement. Very disappointing.

It gave me the designed power capacity but upon insertion the middle plastic anchor that takes a screw fell right off. There wasn't even any force applied. Luckily the two end tabs are still present so I guess I'll take 2 out of 3.
