Foundational for any level of golfer!
Jon has a very unique and insightful perspective on the game of golf. Reading 'The Four Foundations of Golf' has me enjoying golf in a new light and I just finished his second book 'The Foundation of Winning Golf' to set me up for success in competitive settings, both books I highly recommend to all golfers.Jon's ability to explain complicated concepts simply and many of his helpful reframes have improved my game in a very short time and led to me breaking 80 for the first time in my 6 years of playing. Resetting my expectations and focusing on what I can control are things I can thank Jon for which have led to much more enjoyable rounds of golf and the lower scores are nice too :)

Real world advice, not technical mumbo jumbo
Jon does an amazing job of teaching us how to lower scores without tweaking our swings. (Though he gives us advice on how to work on technical skills as well.) The stuff in this book could help anyone, at all skill levels. There is too much to cover in a brief review, but the entire book is filled with great ways to lower scores. The sections on expectations and strategy are especially good. Looking forward to start using the advice this weekend!

Great overview to the whole picture of what golf is
Great book for golf sickos looking to establish a solid understanding to four key facets of golf. Really like how basic the book is while giving you loads of mental cues for approaching the game differently. 10/10 would recommend.

8 Chapters In, Best Round Ever
This is the first review I have ever left. I was on the golf course thinking I have to leave a review, it’s that good.I am only 8 chapters in, and I shot the best round of my life. The beauty of this book is there are not swing changes or mechanics, rather it’s a recalibration for how you should view the game and make decisions. Jon provides data that helps you ‘hack’ the game for better scores (and just general enjoyment of golf). You can implement the ideas immediately. One thing I didn’t think much of when I was reading was his emphasis on enjoying the game. This has really stuck with me. Looking forward to finishing this book!
