I am very happy with these headphones
I have had these for over a month. They are a great set of headphones. Sound is great, crisp, clear and the right amount of bass without being muddy and distorted and bright high end. They are also comfortable and snug without trying to cave in my skull. I would buy these again without hesitation.

Great Sound, Build Concerns: A Review of Yamaha HPH-MT5 Monitor Headphones
The Yamaha HPH-MT5 headphones have impressed me with their sound quality! They deliver crisp, balanced audio that's perfect for music production, mixing, or just enjoying your favorite tunes. The closed-back design provides excellent noise isolation, allowing you to focus on your audio without distractions. What I Liked:Excellent Sound Quality: The audio is clear, well-balanced, and perfect for critical listening.Noise Isolation: The closed-back design effectively blocks out external noise.Comfort: The headphones are comfortable to wear for extended periods, thanks to the lightweight design and plush ear cups.A Note on Durability:While the sound quality is fantastic, I did have some concerns about the overall build quality. The headphones feel a bit lightweight and potentially susceptible to damage if mishandled. Thankfully, I purchased an extended warranty for peace of mind.Overall:Despite the slight concern about build quality, the HPH-MT5 headphones offer exceptional sound and noise isolation at a reasonable price point. For those who prioritize audio fidelity and comfort, these are a great option. However, if you require a particularly rugged pair of headphones for heavy-duty use, you might want to consider a sturdier model.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

The most underrated headphones IMHO
Prior or this Yamaha HPH MT5, I have and still used the Sony MDR 7506, Sennheiser HD 569, Audio-Technica ATH-M50X for hobby instrumental and vocal recordings. I tried each for every single task: keyboard, bass, vocal, mixing, music listening. They sound okay, but somehow I always feel something is missing. Once I used this MT5, all of the sudden everything is there, full, clear, present. Even Hans Stamer old tracks sound wonderful and more (from the previously missing sounds).I am not a pro, far from it, so I cannot explain what happened. Maybe the ear cups sealed better (but not tighter)? Maybe the sound reproduction is better? I have no idea. But this is the winner for fewer dollars (on sales now, even better).Anyhow, I watched Youtube's Damir Franc reviews for both the MT5 and MT8 and got this MT5 since Franc stated it was more suitable for studio work. But now since this MT5 is really good for what it is designed for (?), I'm curios if the MT8 is good for music listening. Who knows. I'm not a pro, so nothing to lose lol.

offer a surprisingly accurate and balanced sound
The Yamaha RH1C headphones offer a surprisingly accurate and balanced sound for their price point. They excel in reproducing clear highs and mids, making them suitable for various applications like mixing, monitoring, and casual listening. While the bass response might not be as pronounced as some might prefer, it's still adequate for most genres. The comfortable design and durable build quality add to their appeal. Overall, the RH1C is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and affordable pair of headphones.

No Bluetooth
Good headphones monitors, great sound overall. However product description states Bluetooth connectivity, that is not true. These have no power what-so-ever. Not even volume control.Only returning due to misleading statements on connectivity.
