Cheap fix, if it’s what you need
Worked ok for me, but if you’re compressor is bad, or locked up it’s not going to help. Also make sure it’s compatible with your compressor( part number matches your fridge)There’s several different versions of these and they all look the same.

Worked as should. Fixed fridge twice. Lasted little over 2 years
Lasted a little over two years. Today stopped working again. Yay. Caught it a tad late and had to throw some things away in the freezer as this was purchased for my garage fridge. Ordered another and says 2 days shipping.Item did arrive quick in 2 days. Easy install once again and my fridge is now working again. Expect this part to last 2 years. New one was a bit larger then old replacement. Thanks for a cheap repair!

Doesn't last- buy elsewhere
While the product did initially start working, I noticed that shortly after plugging it in- my refrigerator was quiet... yet again. Off the bat, getting it out of the box I noticed the entire piece rattled a considerable amount. More so than the piece I bought this to replace! I thought it was strange considering these pieces are supposed to be silent and ANY rattling indicates it needs replaced (for my Maytag refrigerator). I decided to try it anyways just to provide clarity of a difference this gave to the performance of the refrigerator. It did hum the capacitor upon first plug in and I had a sigh of relief.. my problem is over, the fridge/freezer will cooperate finally... or so I thought. I continued monitoring it every 1-4 hours due to other reviews stating it gave a result of melting plastic and being a fire hazard. While thankfully I did not experience it melting or worse as others did, I'm quite disappointed this stopped operating as it needed to in an hour or less. I gave it a fair chance of a full day and unplugged and replugged the refrigerator a few times at various intervals to confirm if the piece indeed was no longer operating.If you've gotten this far into the review, I advise you to please instead buy this part off a different site that's more reliable in results.

Fixed Frigidaire FRS24WSCB1
My Frigidaire refrigerator Model FRS24WSCB1 stopped worked. Both the refrigerator and the freezer wouldn't get cold. Frigidaire discontinued the Compressor Start Relay and Capacitor with no recommended replacement. I found this part on Amazon, the Capacitor had the same rating, so with no other option available I had nothing to lose so I bought this item. I received the part in 2 days. Took 30 minutes to install because I needed to replace one of the spade connectors with a smaller one. Plugged in the refrigerator, the compressor started immediately and 2 hours later the refrigerator and freezer were cold and ice cubes were made. Highly recommend this part. For the price, you can't go wrong!
