Metric thread adapter required
High quality product but the female straight G-thread in the valve body does not thread to your normal 1/2" tapered male pipe thread. The pipe thread will bottom out and will not seal properly. You will need to buy a G-thread to NPT adapter ... not something that my local plumbing supply house had in stock. You'll need to search the internet for the adapter. Again, it will not work with NPT thread.
