These socks are well made, the knit and textile material appears and feels to be high quality BUT....they are not even close to the compression factor experienced by the black socks listed by the same seller and as the identical item except for color. I am not certain if the size is the issue or if the compression is simply not present in these. I still gave four stars bc, as stated, they are extremely nice socks and worth what I paid for them (5 ct set) even if they're not compression socks.I would not recommend these socks for compression socks even a little bit, but if you need affordable, comfortable, well-made athletic socks or boot socks, these would be tough to beat.

Comfortable to wear. Little thread starting to pop out after 4-5 washes. No holes yet.

Did exactly what I needed: good support while being comfortable. For vacations, I use higher compression socks for time on the airplane, but they are really tight. These offers good support for walking when we are on vacation and on our feet almost all day.
