Bought for a gift tried it out so I could put batteries in it. Will follow back up once with what the kids think of it

The media could not be loaded. This toy looks good in a description but it was not so great for our use. Our child is at the age where he parrots words that he hears and while the toy had some very neat activities, the built-in voice was heavily accented and the language was sometimes incorrect. With our child just learning words and using them in full sentences, we thought it best to return it.

Just by watching the product description; obvs needs power source. This does require 6 double 'A' batteries total. Important when giving as a gift.

I love this. It requires six batteries. Make sure you have those because it doesn't come with it very educational very informative my 3-year-old loves it well worth the money spent.
