UPDATE: Vendor offered me a refund, which I gladly accepted..... only problem is after well over a month and multiple attempts they still haven't given the offered refund. Yet another reason to avoid.As a preface I've flown R/C planes for a number of years so I'm plenty capable of controlling this drone.I charged both batteries and loaded the app with no issues. Powered everything on and it connected as it should. Drone took off with no issues so I flew it around for a few minutes to get the hang of it. First thing I noticed it that the trim isn't consistent. After trimming to hover level, then flying around, it won't maintain a hover, so you're constantly having to adjust trim. I also noted that it doesn't have much power at all. Any wind/breeze at all could be a fight to control.Next I swapped the battery and tried to fly it more and a bit further away. I wanted to get a view of my house from the air since I just had a new roof installed so I flew it to probably 30' in the air then flew over the top of my house. Apparently there was a bit more wind up there and the drone started moving away from me. No matter how much input I gave it to return it would not. I even tried going left or right to get it back but it was no use. I then tried to get it to go down but at that point it must have been too far away and lost connection with the remote though I could still easily see it, it was just across the street over my neighbors house. I watched it fly away into the cut corn field behind my neighbors house. Only God knows where it is now because I couldn't find it, and to be honest I would only want it back to return it.In addition the camera quality is poor. Not 1080p IMO. Very grainy.Anyway, 1 star because 0 isn't an option. If you buy I wouldn't fly it outside if there is *ANY* wind. Good luck!

It’s easy to use. My husband read the directions, charged both batteries, and headed outside. I saw the drone fly over our roof, then hubby lost control and it disappeared at the edge of our 40 acres. It worked but I suggest you give it to a child and not a grownup. No, we never found it 😀

You start to lose connection around 80-100 meters, so it’s best for open areas.

This was a gift for my father and he absolutely loves it! He is very into taking pictures and videos especially on family or church trips and this will make it easier for him to get everyone in the picture from a bird's eye view! Seems easy enough to use and is definitely worth the money

I was testing it out. It flew up and the joystick wasn’t working and it flew in a tree. Lost my money with something that malfunctioned

Our first drone purchase and while the drone appears to function with the controller the app connections proved difficult. Instructions indicated a wifi connection prompt however that never appeared. We did manage to get the app connected by entering the wifi on the phone and manually connecting to the drone. Ensure to disable your auto connect on your normal wifi connections. The app lacks any documentation that we could find so many of the features go unexplained. With the controller the drone flys good and easy to manage.
