Finally, one I can leave plugged in!

I leave this plugged into my car full time. It's one of the few that is smart enough to go to sleep and not kill your battery. The Bluetooth connectivity is strong and solid.I have it paired to my Android headunit and it paired in quickly with Car Scanner and Torque. It can read transmission codes on my 8th Gen Civic, which didnt seem to work with the previous two generic scanners I've tried.It works very well, and seems much more compatible and just plain better than the other elm327 clones I've used. Short of a dedicated scan tool, this is likely as good as it gets.

Works well with several apps I tried, although some complain that it's not proper elm327. Some apps don't work at all with it because of that, like Torque. I settled on Motordata and Car Gauge pro and I'm satisfied with how much it can read.

Works with iOS and my Prius V

I purchased this for use in my 2013 Toyota Prius V with an Apple iPhone SE2 (2020). I had no issues connecting my phone to this OBD Scanner. I tested Carista, Car Scanner, and Dr. Prius apps. All worked. It comes with a nice storage box but I just leave the device connected to my OBD port.

Good product

Forever everyday use it is actually a really good code reader.The problem isn't the reader all the apps do work.The apps just don't have the features that I would use as a mechanic and are more targeted towards Private car owners.For anybody who owns a car this is a great tool for basic diagnosis of engine problems.

Great little module, especially for the price

Amazing, connects with torque pro on my head unit and I can see everything I could ever want to and, probably some things I don't need to look at.I have not compared it against any other tool, but it was certainly nice to see a code come and go as I did some DIY repairs on my car. I only wish it could communicate with the TPMS

Bad clone detected

See bottom of picture where it says bad clone. This is the Car Scanner Elm324 bluetooth apk free setup. This would not connect with the cars ecu. I have a $5 mini that works fine. Was looking forward to a better unit but this ain't it.
