The materials appear to be good quality and after the weeks that I've been using it, I've not noticed any obvious wear either.There are some settings that are easy to access which allows you to choose heat and speed. It works exactly as I'd expect and it all feels very intuitive to use - it quickly dries my hair and feels great. I also like that the cable is able to swivel so it never feels like it's pulling a certain direction or getting in the way, which helps a lot with the balance and handling.I really like the brush that it comes with - it is the perfect size to create volume and bouncy curls. I've also tried the diffuser and it does work great, but I definitely need more practice to get the best results. I'm really happy with it so far and it's been amazing quality.

This comes in a very elegant and classy black box with the typical design that you would expect from ghd, all very sleek and well presented.We are all familiar with the level of quality that you would expect from a brand like ghd and this does the job perfectly and comes with all of the accessories that you would need such as the vent nozzle, diffuser, clips etc. But my only sticking point is that it is such a high price point when you can get pretty good imitations on the market for a fraction of the cost.I think I would splash this kind of money if I was buying for a special gift, eg main christmas present or the like. You wont be disappointed with what you get and you will get good quality but I would fins myself thinking I could have gotten like for like for less?
