Great gloves for light to medium dirty work, where you need good and precise grip. These gloves protect your hands but at the same time you have a lot of "feel" in your fingers, I can easily pick M3-M4 bolts from the tool case with the gloves on, no problem. The nitrile palm coating is great when you need to grab something, i.e. unscrew firmly tighten covers (car oil filler cap, power steering fluid reservoir, etc), the gloves have a nice "sticky" feel. Even with oily or wet surfaces your hands won't get dirty, wet or greasy, but don't expect protection when doing heavy wet or oily jobs, these gloves are not design for that. Also, with lot of oil on the palm nitrile coating, grip can become slippery. I mainly use them when doing DIY car jobs, these are great for that, and for general house work when protection from dirt and moisture is needed. They are also great for gardening and reading from the other reviews here, builders and carpenters love them too.They are an excellent value!

These are better than my okd ones which I got from Aldi, however the only negative about these is that they tend to make my hands sweaty as well as smelly. Takes some thorough washing if hands to get rid of sweat and smell. Other than that, they are durable.

As a self employed gardener I go through gloves like they are going out of fashion and I'm always on the lookout for reasonably priced ones that will cope with general wear. These are perfect! They are very comfortable and are great for general weeding and gardening work - the coated area is just thick enough to cope with nettles and small brambles and I've even (carefully!) pruned roses wearing them. As they are close fitting they are also perfect for fiddly work including potting on seedlings. Over the winter I've worn them under my thick leather gloves for an extra warmth layer. I generally go through a pair around every two or three weeks as the ends of the fingers wear out - but that's no different to the gloves that I had been using which cost considerably more than these. With reference to another review on here - I've now bought two lots of these gloves and none of them have had 'odd' ones in them so I assume that was perhaps a dodgy batch. For value for money I think these gloves are excellent and I'll be ordering them on a regular basis!

These gloves are not bad but they are not as hardwearing as I would like. If you are doing anything that involves rubbing e.g. applying woodstain then I would save your money and buy a better set of gloves.However it you just want them to protect your hands while using electric tools such as sanders and drills or for when painting then you can't go wrong with these.

Best gloves ever for horse riding, mucking out, gardening and DIY. I hate wearing gloves as they get in the way, but tired of having horrible chapped hands and dirt under nails. These have changed my life!!

Have tried various manufacturers of thin coated gloves. So far these have been the best I've come across for wear. I'm a tree surgeon and wear thin gloves when climbing for grip on the ropes. On wet days these allow me good grip on the chainsaw handles. I expect to get a day out of a pair and these are doing better than that.
