Found this tricycle at a antique shop and I have already restored another vintage kids bike sooo here I go again! I was not sure how to recover the seat or how as of yet, but I was in Wal Mart looking for pedal replacements etc. and I saw a bike gel seat cover. They didn't sell kids size seats, so back to good old Amazon with their assortment of goodies and this fit like a glove!!!! Thanks again Amazon Sellers!

This bike seat seemed very comfortable and supportive. I didn’t keep it because it didn’t fit on our kids strider bike seat how I wanted. But it could have worked as a more affordable option than a seat replacement for $27 + shipping from Strider.

My granddaughter's bike seat is about 9.5 inches in length and 5 inches in width. This was an old second-hand bike and I could not find a replacement seat that would fit. This fits pretty well, it was easy to install, you pull the drawstrings tight and there are two ribbons hanging down one on each side that I just tied together with the leftover drawstring that was hanging. I wrapped the ribbons around the bike pole under the seat to keep them from getting caught anywhere as they were long. My granddaughter said the seat is comfortable and much better than having to ride using the ripped seat. You also get a bell which is easy to attach. The bell is pure plastic but it works. Gone are the days of the metal bells from my days. You get handlebar ribbons but in order to use those I have to drill a hole in each side as this bike doesn't have an opening for the ribbons. She said the cover did move a little bit when she was riding but it has no slip material that interacts with the seat so I suspect it will depend on the individual bike seat. If the seat moving bothers her I can fix it but I wiggled it back and forth and I did not feel that it had much movement. I would order this seat again.

My 9 yo hated riding his bike bc of the seat. Now, after installing this cover, he is so happy to ride. So far so good on quality after a week of use.

We got a used bike for our grandson and the seat coating was dried and cracked.We got this seat cover and it works perfectly. It looks like a new bike.

Handle bar ribbons fell apart after one ride, bike bell also fell apart and is unusable. The gel seat so far saves this rating somewhat but the jury is still out. If it fails in the next week or so I will definitely be removing two more stars.
