BENEWY MC500 Bluetooth Wireless Speakers - Green

It's a great little speaker for straight bluetooth playback. What lets it down slightly is where audio sources are something other than bluetooth.First, the line in for audio is, oddly, also the usb port used for charging the device. It just about works, but watch the volume level on the input source -- if it goes too high, the speaker will either drop out chunks of sound, or just play nothing at all.The inbuilt FM radio works okay, although working out what station you're listening to might take a few minutes and a broadcast station ident. Not that surprising, I guess...The facility for playing MP3s from a little SD card also works but as far as I can tell the playback logic is confined to file order -- so the first file copied to the card plays first and so forth. I'd have liked a bit more control -- maybe a preference for .m3u playlists stored in the root, or a basic randomiser -- because as it is you may as well stick with small cards and ensure you copy files on in the order you want them played back.I also rather dislike the volume of the voice that announces what the audio source is, when you turn it on or change it. But it's over soon enough... :)All that said, the sound quality is excellent for its size, it pairs easily in bluetooth mode and as that's its primary raison d'etre, my criticisms can only be regarded as minor!

Initially I was disappointed, the device was not connecting via Bluetooth, nor did the speaker work via the cable on my projector. I'd resigned myself to having bought a dud, but as return postage would cost me, I decided to let it go.However, the seller sent a general "hope you are happy with your purchase email, appreciate a review", type of email, I responded and much to my surprise I recieved a replacement speaker a few days later. Charged it and tried again, and this one works beautifully.I am very impressed with the sound, for such a tiny thing it packs a punch. I have found on full volume there is a bit of a burr, and it becomes more noticeable when the speaker needs re-charging, but then this is hardly a super dooper, top range, blow your socks off speaker, But for the price it's bloody good. I use it for playing music via my iPhone 4s when I'm cooking, or for playing the sound when I'm streaming a video via my ipad3, as sometimes the sound on videos is a bit quiet played through the iPad speakers.In summary, excellent wee speaker, for the price and the seller offers fantastic customer service.

Decent sound quality and very loud for its size. great to have the double function as a radio too and the multiple options for the speaker whether is connected to a device via Bluetooth or reproducing from an microSD. Easy to charge I can even use the phone charger as its more convenient than to plug it to the laptop. you can also use it while charging and it doesn't take forever to charge. Handy size makes it easy to carry around. In general very good, been using for almost 2 years and its still going strong even after drooping it several times.

Looks Good. Very poor, badly translated, instructions booklet. Won't automatically go to bluetooth mode because the on/off switch is defective. FYI - tried to return it using the "Printerless" option for returns. Printerless means you only have to PRINT out the QR code, or take your laptop to the post office. (We don't all have our email on our phones!!!)

I picked this up because I just wanted something to enable me to play music from my iPod in my holiday apartment. Didn't have to be in state of the art sound, just good quality. I was surprised and pleased at how good the Betron MC500 sounds. It packs a bit of a punch, not tinny despite it's small size. It was really easy to pair it up with my iPod Nano - you just switch them both on, go to Settings on the iPod and switch Bluetooth on. The iPod should then detect the Betron (it'll appear in the Devices list). Click on the Betron in the list and and then the Betron will announce that it's "connecting". Then bingo - you can play your music. A tenner well spent.

What a great little product. Impressed with the design and sound. This is perfect for enhancing the sound quality of both my tablet and phone. Now listening to music, dramas or watching films are so much more enjoyable with crisp audio.Neat, compact, easy to use and recharge. Well priced and so far all is working very well.

Great little speaker and very easy to use. Comes in lovely colors. Great for the park in the summer and easy to put into a hand bag. Light weight as well and durable. Does not feel like something that will break easily. Highly recommended!

I was amazed at how loud it was and how clear it is. I was NOT expecting it to be this good. when i use it downstairs on full volume i can still hear it upstairs, I had to turn it down. love the fact that you can take a call on it as well because it has a inbuilt microphone. I have only used it through the phone, so have not tested the micro sd slot on it, but it is nice to know it has one. Great value, great product. I give it 100% recommedation
