worked as replacement for RMF-003AGLB
This worked as a replacement for the RMF-003AGLB fan in my Galanz fridge. The Galanz fridge is well known for having its fans die. And Galanz's support is the absolute worst! I was waiting for 4 months for them to get the part back in stock in the US. And they can't even tell me the model number of the part, so that I could easily order it from elsewhere.Finally sick of waiting for the mystery part to arrive, I opened up the fridge and removed the fan. Using the part number on the fan (RMF-003AGLB) I was able to figure out that this fan is compatible in dimensions and voltage. Only minor inconvenience is that the shape of the plugs are different, so I had to cut wire connectors off the old fan and connect them to this new one. Very easy to do, but you'll need a wire cutter / stripper. Or in a pinch you use a scissors and a steak knife to strip. Match black to black, red to red, white to white. Connect with small wire nuts or butt connectors. DONE!The part arrived the next day and I was able to quickly get my fridge working again. Just kicking myself for waiting so long. It was easy to do this repair myself.

Works great
We purchased a refrigerator/freezer earlier this year only to have the fan go out within a few months. Although still under warranty, the company was being difficult so we decided to see if we could just swap out the fan. It was a relatively easy install and thanks to this fan the freezer works like new. It's quiet, fit just right and seems to be similar quality to what was there.

not really an exact fit for the original part (for a Samsung RSG257...)
That having been said, it is the only thing that seems to be available and is a fraction of the $150 or so fan that you might or might not be able to get from "OEM" manufacturers. With a little ingenuity I was able to fit it in the space and line up with the shroud, and #8 washers make great spacers...and the price can't be beat for what has to be a 15 to 20 year old samsung side by side.

Perfect. Easy fix.
Mother-in-law’s, Samsung 3 door fridge stopped cooling, but the freezer was fine. Typical culprit. Fan wasn’t moving air. Everything behind that freezer panel was freezing. (Evaporator, defroster, etc)Swapped the fan out down there, kicked it back on, and it was good as new shortly after.
