Sharpest manufacturers edge in my knife collection of knives.
Over the years I've collected quite a few kitchen knives, and often I have to re-work the cutting edge before using. Not this one though. With enough work, I can usually put an edge on a knife that equals this knife, but I appreciate knives that are this sharp right out of the box.Nice, solid handle that feels strong and comfortable while cutting.Nicely packaged and would make a great gift. An easy five stars.

Very sharp, a bit heavy
This knife is really sharp- cutting scallions last night was a joy ha! It's also a bit heavier than what I am used to using, but admittedly I had a pretty cheap set that I simply continuously sharpened to make up for the lack of quality- I don't expect the same issue with this knife. Solid knife, will be slicing veggies for a long time with this one.

Poor fit and finish TUO boning knife
I ordered this for my mother-in-law because I know she likes this style of handle on a boning knife and I wanted to get her something with a higher quality of steel than she is currently using. I'm very disappointed with the fit and finish of the handle on this knife. All 6 exposed rivet heads are above the surface of the handle and make the knife feel awkward in my hand. There also doesn't seem to be any kind of finish on the handle to help it last.I ordered a paring/utility knife at the same time of another brand of knife with a demascus steel blade that was just a few dollars more and the fit and finish was beautiful. The blade is sharp and the knife looks nice if you don't look too close at the handle. I know this isn't a super high end knife but it isn't a Walmart special either. I don't think it matters how great the blade on a knife is, if it doesn't feel good in your hand you aren't likely to use it. Not sure if I'm going to try and order another one to see if this was a one off or if I'm just going to get the boning knife of the same brand as my wife's paring knife. My wife loves the feel of the handle of her paring knife but it is very different from this handle which is one of the things my mother-in-law is very particular about.

For the price, it's a winner!
Great knife, sharp and good weight to it. The handle is a little off so the metal of the tang sticks out and you can feel it in your grip. Otherwise it's a really good knife for the price!

Handle is very uncomfortable!
The handle slabs do not fit properly and as a result the sharp metal edge of the tang sticks out and digs into your hand. The handle pins are not ground flush and so their sharp edges stick out and also dig into your hand. There are many other knives out there in this price range that have a smooth, properly finished handle.

Sharp edges on handle
First let me say I have ordered several knives from this company as gifts and for myself, and I have loved them. This one not so good, it is the first one of this particular series I’ve gotten and the edges on the the handle are very sharp, it just wasn’t put together very well. And the decorative rivet on one side wasn’t very pretty. It is still a very nice blade, super sharp out of the box , but this was a gift and I was disappointed in it.

great knife!
Have used the cleaver for over a year for chopping everything from frozen meat to vegetables. Does an awesome job. When it needs sharpening just a couple of passes on steel and its like new again. Razor sharp.

Beautiful blade, the handle plumped up after two washes.
UPDATED REVIEW:After putting the knife through a couple of dishwasher cycles, the handle plumped up and is now completely flush with the metal parts. I am now completely satisfied with it.Perhaps it spent a long time in a super dry warehouse, which dried the hand out.— — —Original Review:I already have one 5” Tuo utility knife so was looking forward to this one. But unfortunately the metal part of the handle is not flush and it’s not nice to hold. The metal part of the handle and the rivets are sticking out about half a mm and rub up against the skin during use. Very disappointing.

Poor quality
I originally ordered this model knife last year and it’s very nice, but this version I received today is not the same quality. There’s a crack in the handle and the metal part is sticking out of the handle and sharp. The wooden handle on the knife I received last year was smooth and polished; this one is rough. Too bad because the knife I received last year is very nice and I wanted another one as a backup. I’ll see if the seller is willing to send a better one, or it will be sent back for refund as defective.

Sturdy,shape and well built
Handle is big but the right size for adult females & males. The blade is well supported at the the connection base with the handle.

Fit and finish was horrendous, but customer service is beyond great.
Every single rivet is raised at least 1mm above the surface of the wood. The ENTIRE tang has the same issue around the entire handle. Not to mention, the accent rivet is scuffed terribly on both sides to the point of losing some of the black inlay. The wood itself doesn't even seem finished, and it still has sanding scratches. And to top it all off, the blade isn't even sharp. The protective plastic is a joke, because this is a glorified butter knife.Edit 1:I am editing this review, as I had customer service reach out to me and attempt to provide me with compensation for my grievances listed above. They sent me a fillet knife from one of Tuo's other series of knives (Black Hawk S) to try, free of charge, and although it was even less flexible than this version (EXTREMELY important for fillet knives), and the sheer weight of it was intense (heavier than my 10" chef's knife, somehow) the fit and finish was admittedly much better, and since that was my original complaint, I've added a star to this review for their more than acceptable customer service.Edit 2:I am once again updating my review, as customer service once again reached out to me regarding ways to increase my perception and overall satisfaction with my knives. The seller sent me a Falcon series filet knife to attempt to fix my complaints about the other knives. While this new knife is overall better, especially when considering my original complaints, there is still the issue of flexibility of the blade. If you're looking for a fillet knife that can handle beef, pork, or other dense meats, these are great knives, and should last quite a while, but they wouldn't be the best knives for fish, chicken, or other lighter meats that demand a flexible, thin blade. This Falcon model was more flexible than the original knife I ordered, and the Black Hawk S series, however. The lengths that the seller's customer service has gone to for my satisfaction are humbling, I am therefore updating my review to three stars.

A great knife to own.
Loved the knife. It arrived before the estimated arrival date neatly packaged. It is sharp and cuts through food easily.
