I was very disappointed today when i opened the package and found one snake hook and just an additional hook tip. I was looking at other little collapsible and extendable snake hooks. I ended up buying this one even though it was more money because i thought it came with two snake hooks. The quality is about what i would expect for the price if it came with two. I ended up paying $15.07 for one hook when I could have gotten a better one for less than $10. I personally would pay no more than $8 for this product based on the quality and how long I expect it to last even with gentle use. I called amazon and they squared it up, I'm just writing this in case anyone else is looking at this and thinking they will get two complete snake hooks.

Great for small snakes but nothing bigger than a ball python. When using this item on a large snake such as a Boa, the hook(and every section) spins making it difficult to use. I suggest a stronger hook for anything over 4ft but it works well for smaller snakes.

I should have spent the money to get a bigger, higher quality hook.

A decent hook, fit and finish could be a bit better; it tends to unscrew itself, and when fully extended it's exacerbated. The beveling is nice and it works well for the price range. Would reccomend for smaller snakes 1-8 lbs.
