We got this for our almost 3 year old. If you even as much as look at the train, it will fall off the track. Extremely cheap and light.The locomotive is neat and does smoke...although not a fan of this due to inhalation/health reasons.The ENTIRE time is spent putting the train back on the track, which is NOT easy.My little guy cries every 5 seconds as he desperately tries to fix the train...to no avail of course. Don't even think about touching it when it's in motion...how can this be for kids?The softest touch derails the train.It has a lot of potential. Looks nice and really wanted to love it. The fact that it falls off the track if someone passes gas in the room is a deal breaker.

Outstanding product. I took one star off as light on our locomotive did not work and we issued a replacement. My 2 year loves watching it. Highly recommended to supervise if your toddler is <=2 yrs

"Look at the smoke, mom". My son loves it! It needs 4 batteries. It took my son a while to figure out how to put the trail together and get the train running. Now he starts to put the train on the floor and let it run all over the place.
