BEAUTYBLENDER Rosie Posie Blender Essentials Makeup Sponge Set

Tried this because of reviews about how great it is. THIS THING IS HORRIBLE!!! I washed it after using it and let it dry in the open and noticed little black specks on it after about the 3rd time washing and drying it and found out that it is MOLD GROWING ON IT!!! Did some research and everyone that has bought this item it has happened. I just through it in the garbage. Do not buy this.

These blenders are not manufactured by the beauty blender company; they are a knockoff of the brand. The plastic container says "the original beaty blender makeup sponge" and on the REAL beauty blender packaging it says "wet.squeeze.bounce" under the name. The differences between a real one and this one are very noticeable once taken out of the container. Its not as soft and squishy and when you wet this, it becomes very large and feels almost coarse and rough, then never fully shrinks back down to normal size once dry. Luckily I had a real blender to compare this to. I will most definitely be returning for a refund.

The beauty blender is suppose to increase in size once wet. This did not so therefore it is fake. It's also not the same consistency as the real one. Sorry my beauty blender is dirty. But these two are both wet and the REAL one is to the left & it has expanded in size. DO NOT BUY FAKE!!!!

"The Original Beauty Blenders" are amazing and will fix just about any makeup mistake or shenanigan by blending it for the gods! This makeup tool really gives a nice airbrush look to one's makeup. It can be used with any type of makeup, cream foundations, setting powders, eye shadows, pigments, eye pencils, etc.The knock off beauty blenders don't work as well, as they are not made of the same space age materials. I have no idea what material "The Original Beauty Blender" is made of, but this is $20 well spent for anyone's makeup toolkit!

I used this to apply concealer around my eyes & within a few weeks of occasional use (I don't wear make-up daily) little pieces started to come off around the tip. Also, every time I rinsed the sponge, the water was bright pink! I bought this because of all the rave reviews I kept reading about it in every magazine I seemed to look at - but surely this can't be how they are supposed to perform? Very disappointing.

The sponge I received was NOT the original beautyblender. It is much smaller and feels like horribly cheap made material. I have had many beautyblenders in the past and this is not it.

I used this as soon as I got it. It doesn’t expand as much as my original beautyblender. I started not to purchase it and instead purchase the one that is sold separately. In my experience when something is heavily discounted it isn’t the original product.I also just applied a little concealer on my first use. I couldn’t wash all of it out. I have both the liquid and solid cleanser. I was very gentle and the wash brush slightly ripped it. I just got it yesterday.I’m still going to purchase the original and see if there’s a difference. I think I’m going to pass on the combo though.The photo I included is after one use of concealer. I would’nt purchase again.

i've never owned a beauty blender so, i was concerned about the "fake" reviews. as soon as i got it i wet it and let it air dry to see if any mold would form or if it will dry down hard. i rinsed it for about 3 minutes under warm water, there was no bleeding and it did enlarge in size. very soft. i then let it air dry for almost 24 hours and there was no mold present. still very soft. i have yet to use it to see if it holds up after make up. i will try to update once i do. for now i'll leave it at 5 stars for being real and arriving undamaged/unused. i paid 30$update January 2022: i did wash with soapy water and it did bleed a bit. it dried fine and still no mold. so i guess its just a hit or miss with this store. im still pleased.

After I received this item I bought another beauty blender from Boots to compare the two. The writing and design on packaging of the original is shiny and reflective. Don’t waste your money, it’s FAKE!!!!!

For the price you pay I wouldn’t recommend this sponge, it stores the foundation even when washed and it comes apart. The cheaper sponges do the job better

Counterfeit product. Do not buy! This is not a genuine beauty blender. Having purchased several genuine ones from official sources, this one is quite different. Different size, different texture, different packaging.

This product was a fake. Very noticeable when comparing packaging and material of sponge to the original blender. Original is £17 this fake was £14 which makes no sense.

Having bought this as a replacement for the beauty blender I have already got, I can tell you the product is not genuine. Packaging is off not the correct leaflets and labelling, the sponge itself is a rougher material and is no way the same as what it should be
