I purchased these as a gift for my daughter who lives in a rural area. I selected these because of the durability and the appearance. My daughter loves these sloggers. The size is accurate and she states they are very comfortable. She wears them to do chores outside and then can hose them off and set them beside the door to dry. Because her area receives quite a bit of rain, many times she wears them to her car and will change shoes at work. One day she forgot her shoes and had to wear the sloggers all day. She said she received lot of smiles and many compliments while at work and the sloggers were actually comfortable to wear for the duration. Socks would be appropriate to wear with these boots. I would happily purchase these again and highly recommend them. My daughter is extremely happy with them.

The media could not be loaded. I got size 7, they are true to size. I love that they hug my feet and I can wear them with socks. Super comfortable. Now I can look stylish walking the yard and cleaning my chicken coop, and my feet stay dry!

Since everyone's foot and calf are different, it's really tough to determine what size to get when everyone is saying how big or how small this boot is. I wear a regular size 7 and have always had large calves. So I ordered my regular size 7. It fits like a glove -- and I mean that literally. There is absolutely NO room for socks or to tuck in pants. They slipped on like a glove, but then formed a bit of suction and were difficult to take off. Like some other reviews state, they are a bit shorter than what you'd expect -- they came up to my lower calf, before it rounds out. But I really like these, so I'm going to order the next size up. But I wonder if I really need to order 2 sizes up . . .

My Sloggers are considered rain boots, but I use them in snow. They're completely waterproof and surprisingly comfortable and supportive for my feet. A number of times this past winter, we had heavy snowfalls, at least several inches deep. I put on my Sloggers boots, tucked my jeans into the tops, and headed out to shovel my sidewalks and driveway. My feet stayed completely dry and comfy, even when I was outdoors for more than an hour at a time. The boots are not lined, but my feet were not cold, which was a surprise bonus.The design on these boots is so darned cute, they always make me smile when I put them on!Besides these boots, I have a pair of Sloggers shoes which I wear on rainy days or when I'm working in the yard and the ground is muddy. I also wear them when I walk dogs at a local shelter because, well, they're really easy to clean if I step in something, if you catch my drift. ;-) The Sloggers shoes are quite comfortable, and I can wear them for hours.

These rain boots are so far the best rain boots I have ever had. They are super comfortable and they keep my feet warm and dry during the cold and rainy spring season here in the Midwest, compared to other rain boots that make my feet chilly after wearing them for a while outside. They fit true to size and didn't take much to break them in. I love the support and traction of the boots as well. I highly recommend getting a pair of any sloggers rain boots, but if you're looking for a fun pattern, this chicken pattern is it.
