Well designed & well made. Easy to use. Makes really great coffee. The only downside is not putting too much water in. Have to watch it. Easy to clean. Good compromise of quality and price.

i love Stanley i have a lot of there stuff. my only dislike is having to wash it out after a cup of coffee. so if im camping i have to pour out good drinking water to clean this. and it is a little pit bulky to pack in a backpack. grounds don't make it thru but some silt does. taste great and as lon as you pre hydrate the grounds it doesn't drain supper fast. very much good quality

After I read the directions, I made some coffee. It was ok, need to learn correct measurements. The only real complaint I have is it lets through the very fine particles of coffee grounds. One would say that's part of camping, just dump it out. I have to use a straw to drink, so drinking all that isn't good. Out of curiosity I removed the filter column and tried a regular size paper filter. Fits perfectly! Now I just need to figure out the recipe. Not exactly how I envisioned it, but it works, and will hold enough coffee grounds to make a whole pot!

I REALLY wanted to love this- however it let a huge amount of grinds/sand through and made cups of sludge. Not for me.
