The phone is amazing for an older person. But, it does not work with my mom's telephone provider. She has a Safelink account, the government gives her the phone, it did not work.It is easy to navigate for an older person that is the only reason I wanted. She was not going to use all the bells and whistles, because of the obvious she can't. But the photo contact is amazing, so this phone does work in Mexico and overseas, so if you are not using this provider it might work for anyone.Pros: Easy access to numbers touch screen easy to put numbers the booklet had good instructionsCons: Does not work with Safelik. apps are not that easy to work with

Este teléfono móvil es fácil de usar y perfecto para personas mayores que no están familiarizadas con los teléfonos móviles inteligentes.La interfaz de usuario es sencilla e intuitiva, y la navegación por los menús es muy fácil. Tiene WhatsApp y una cámara para hacer videollamadas o hacer fotos.El móvil se puede utilizar tanto a través de la pantalla táctil como con el teclado de la parte inferior (como con los móviles antiguos). La pantalla es lo suficientemente grande como para ver los números y las letras con claridad, lo que hace que sea fácil para leer los mensajes de texto y las llamadas entrantes.Una de las características que más me gustó de este teléfono móvil fue el botón SOS de emergencia en la parte posterior del teléfono. Este botón puede programarse para llamar a un número de emergencia y/o a un familiar y enviar un mensaje de texto con la ubicación del teléfono en caso de una emergencia.Es un buen móvil para las personas mayores que necesitan uno para un uso básico y que no tienen conocimientos de tecnología.

il più facile telefono per anziani (ma non solo per loro)
Eccellente passo avanti per semplificare l'uso ad un anziano. Finalmente un ottimo compromesso tra i soliti telefoni semplificati (che in realtà sono complicatissimi) ed i più intuitivi smartphone che però abbisognano di tutti i cinque sensi vitali in ottima forma. Inoltre ha la banda UMTS che espande e migliora la copertura del segnale.La vera meraviglia è stato aggiungere un grande schermo touch in un telefono classico a pulsanti veri, tutto gestito con un sistema operativo Android minimalista. La navigazione nei menù avviene toccando lo schermo su icone semplici e grandi facilmente visibili e riconoscibili anche senza occhiali. Ci sono 4 o 6 icone per schermata e le schermate scorrono strisciando il dito. Il menù è semplice immediato ed intuitivo, senza sottomenù a labirinto. Le applicazioni disponibili sono concentrate sullo scopo principale che è telefonare. Il massimo della comodità è data dalla FotoRubrica, 8 contatti telefonici a cui associare una fotografia, a chiamata diretta, basta toccare la foto con un dito senza ulteriori sotto menù da selezionare. C'è anche WathsApp ma francamente se ne può fare a meno perchè la scrittura è possibile solo con la tastiera fisica con il vecchio sistema T9.Oltre che touch, il telefono ha tutte le funzioni selezionabili anche nel classico modo a pulsanti e frecce di navigazione sulla tastiera. Difetti sostanziali non ne ho trovato, solo alcune cose da perfezionare o aggiungere nel menù per renderlo ancora più facile, e visto che abbiamo Android, non dovrebbe essere difficile.Ad esempio, sarebbe utile poter personalizzare le icone da visualizzare nella schermata principale, invece sono bloccate.Oppure dato che va in internet, sarebbe utilissimo un controllo remoto da parte di un familiare che permetta di reimpostare il telefono qualora l'utilizzatore anziano blocchi qualcosa.L'unica cosa assurda che ho trovato: c'è il GPS per mandare le coordinate quando si preme il tasto di soccorso SOS, ma funziona solo se si è connessi in wifi e non in rete mobile !!! ....che senso ha ?Ho letto alcune pesanti critiche sulla durata della batteria; basta spegnere il GPS (che qui non è utilizzato bene), il wifi ed il bluetooth che non servono a nulla nell'uso quotidiano, ed ecco che la batteria dura anche due giorni. Comunque c'è un comodissimo caricabatteria dove basta appoggiare il telefono quando si è a casa, senza piccole spine da dover infilare.In conclusione, sono molto felice di questo telefono che mia madre 85enne usa con grande facilità e soddisfazione.
