Best for Alcohol Inks
If it’s the price you’re worried about, that’s fair. However, this is the best ink for alcohol markers. I have experimented with lots of inks, whether it be dye based, pigment based, etc. and this one is the best one. Absolutely no smudging and it dries relatively fast. I use a dip pen to apply the ink and I’m a heavy handed illustrator. I don’t dilute the ink very much because I actually like how thick it applies, giving your Lineart a raised feel. Once dry, I like to brush my fingers on the raised ink portions because it feels pretty nice. It also dries with a slightly gloss finish, which I like too because it gives a nice contrast to the matte alcohol markers I use.

Does well with alcohol based markers
I’ve tried several brands of permanent ink, and this one does the best for alcohol markers. There isn’t any smudging.
