Carburetor Assy for Yamaha 4-stroke 15HP 20HP Outboard Engine Replaces 6AH-14301-00 6AH-14301-01

The media could not be loaded.  To start, this is not a paid review. I was a little Leary making this purchase. There are others like this carburetor but with negative reviews and for various prices.The fact that this carburetor had some positive reviews was a part of my decision to choose this one.First pull, it started right up. It purrs without a skip. Yeah!It was a rough start at first but after burning off the packaging oil it settled in.It also idled right away.Originally I was going to replace the jets on the old carburetor but their seems to be a back log for Yamaha f20 carburetor parts. The price of the jets are the same cost of this complete setup. No need to purchase the original Yamaha carburetor for almost $500 and prey you receive it within a year. This one work for me. Lets see if it works when I start it up next season 2022.

After having given this carb a decent shakedown, I have to say, it was is well worth the money. It was plug and play and required minimal adjust to be, in my opinion, perfect. My 2011 Yamaha 15hp 4-stoke has never run better. Thanks for providing a great product at a fantastic price.

I put this new carb on and after many adjustments and many headaches later, i ended up bringing it in to the shop and after many headaches for them too finally figured out we had to cut off some of that rubber piece that covers the jet on the inside of the bowl but now it runs fine. So if you get this one that is one of the things to look at if you are still having problems with it.
