The Calamity Janes: Gina & Emma

Of course in these cookie cutter stories, one knows how the romance will end, but the twists, turns and humor in the writing was enjoyable. Just what I needed in a book when I wanted to relax and read something positive. Enough meat to be enjoyable but not have to WORK at it like a text book. Grammar was acceptable and there were seldom any typo bloopers (as I call them). Character development was probably the best part for me... I like the variety in the five "Calamity Janes".

I have really enjoyed how Sherryl intertwines all the characters. You feel as though they are friends. Can't wait for the final installment "Lauren" to be released this month. I plan on going back and reading them again to pick up all the small details throughout each story.

I would like a little more suspense in the stories. The last one with Lauren I was so sure that Emma was going to take on Wade's father for a part of his inheritance. The Cassie story was probably the best.

This book was great but the book cover binding was put on upside down...

Love these characters

A good read, and part of the series. These stories are entwined, but not taxing on your brain or your attention. They are light fun, but well written. A couple of really good laughs.

I just enjoy almost anything written by Sherryl Woods. This series however is just great. I've already sent for the other book in the Calamity Janes series. Highly recommend these books.

I always enjoy the author's books and the way her characters play off of each other. Both stories are enjoyable, but there is some domestic abuse in one. The subject is handled really well and sensitively.
