I don’t know if it is for exterior use but thought I would give it a try - It has worked really well for me. I applied on a very sunny day (hot) to a hot Tonneau cover - The adhesion is excellent and has held up excellent through rainy days - Edges are intact and I’ve rolled up the tonneau multiple times. Not sure if it will work long-term but happy so far. Also not sure how winter will affect it. Works for me so far!

Doesn’t adhere as well as I thought it would and is a bit thick on the seat of my truck.

We have an old 2009 H2. Seats have been torn for years . I usually just place seat covers over it but decided to try to repair it this time . I bought a roll of Leather patch that was 4 inches wide . I probably should of gotten a wider roll but I over lapped it and think it looks pretty good . I sanded the area first then wiped it clean with ammonia really good . I used a heat gun and heated up seat and slightly heated the piece of tape . Once it was on I heated it up while pressing it smooth . The seams I overlapped were white on edges so I used black permanent marker so they didn’t show as much . Think it came out looking pretty good .

For my purposes (patch a tear on a car seat) it did not work. It is easy to use and adheres well if you don’t sit on it.

I used this patch for my car's driver seat. I was expecting it to chafe and come off, my hopes were low. However, after 5 months of getting in and out of the car it sticks and looks exactly like on day one. You can't even tell the diff between the top part in the picture (front of the seat, unpatched) and the left side (where I am getting in and out of the car, patched). The seats are heated too, doesn't seem to faze the adhesive, neither did the summer heat... When installing, I was careful to cut it along the shape of the original seat, along the original seams, but what impressed me was the durability of the adhesive. It didn't shift, it didn't come off, despite my sliding my rear end in and out of the car (what caused the cracks in the seat in the first place, I suppose). Super impressed with the quality...

It almost matched the color of my leather seatBut it doesn't stick to it.I cleaned the surface prior to applying the repair tape and sorry this doesn't stay on, it just brushes rite off. Don't waist your time and money on any of this kind of tape to fix your torn leather goods.I would not recommend this product.

The tape is smooth in appearance and seems to be extremely durable. We used the tape in a place that has to be tough and rugged in order to last. The tape has taken a beating over the last 3 to 4 weeks and thus far shows no problems at all. This is a high recommendation for this product.
