Looks just like the sand from the gulf!
I needed sand to fill a lamp I made to display seashells I got from the gulf. This was perfect. You can get different colors too! Highly recommend!

Worked Well for Project
The sand matched the color selected and the texture matched the product description. The only issues were that the lid was on crooked so it was difficult to open the container, the seal was not intact so sand leaked out, and there were several chunks of something unidentifiable in the sand. Still, plenty of usable product for the shell display. Might take a chance on ordering a different color for a different project.

Thought I would need the entire tub but that was far from the truth came in great and now I have literally the entire container left basically

Packed very well
Settle in with your box cutter cause it will take a while to unpack! (Me being elderly is just part of the cause.) Since it’s sand, I really appreciate the extra effort they put into the packaging! I haven’t opened the sand yet, but it’s the right color so I’m very happy.

Decent quality
The color was a bright white like I expected, particles were very fine as well. The only problem I had with this was the amount of dust this generated. When I poured it you could see a stream of dust and it gets everywhere. I ended up having to wash the sand by mixing it with water and pouring out the cloudy particles that were trapped in solution. After this the sand was better.

Love the black sand.
We redid our bathroom to black and white theme. I have a large bowl full of shells for our travels but the sand was tan in color. I couldn’t find black sand in my area. Lucky Amazon has everything I need and had black sand. It was perfect for what I needed.
