Historic Map - Augusta National Golf Club Course, 1954 - Unframed Vintage Wall Art 18in x 24in

Got the 24" x 30" for the wife, who is also a golfer, for Valentine's Day. She immediately loved it and said "We should totally get this framed!" I agreed. "Maybe with a green matting?" she said. "Great idea!!" I said. That was the easy part. Finding the frame, however, was a bit nightmarish. Went to Michael's, which is apparently (if you take the lady behind the counter's word for it) the largest custom framer of art in the country. I don't dispute that because I honestly can't think of anywhere else to take something I want framed. They had lots of stock frames, but exactly 1 frame that was 24" x 30." It was on sale for $30, but we agreed it was a bit too modern for this piece. So we asked the framer lady how much it would be to have them custom frame it for us and she said, I kid you not, "Well, it starts at around $250 and goes up from there based on various options, and that's because we have a 70% off sale going on that ends today." So I said "Wait, are you telling us that if we want a custom frame for a 24" x 30" poster tomorrow, it would cost at least $700?!" "Yes" she said. Turns out that slightly too modern frame for $30 was perfect after all!

This is a high quality print, and when put into a $30 frame from Michaels it looks like a $300 piece of art. Highly recommend.

Thick quality paper. Cool vintage vibe. Shipped in sturdy tube. Arrived days ahead of schedule.Pricey for the size, but I am happy with the purchase. I put it in an inexpensive bronze frame and it looks really really good. Great conversation piece!

Great print. Grew up watching the Masters with my dad and this was from the year he was born, 1954. Nice classic touch to a man cave and clean enough for a family room or home office.
