SILENCE, SWEET SWEET SILENCE!!!!
Absolutely silent when rolling is my favorite feature of these and i had no idea when i purchased that this would be a feature!!! love that!!! super easy to install, super sturdy and beautiful rolling, these glide over anything small that may be in the way whereas other plastic wheels can just halt a chair if a pebble or something gets in the way. these should be standard on every office chair.

Makes a cheap Office chair feel expensive!
Due to the pandemic, more people started working from home, and then it became hard to get an office chair- I had to settle for a cheap chair with junky wheels. I took the chance and bought these wheels to try to make the chair less crappy and they did the trick! They roll with ease on the rug under my chair and have held up very well, they were installed about 1 year ago and the chair is used almost daily. To install them, you just tap them in where the cheap wheels would normally go. They made the cheap chair last longer and become easier to use, allowing the chair to glide around and be more comfortable.

Zippy
These wheels are so nice and roll over carpet very well that you might need to be extra careful that it doesn’t roll away with you. I almost rolled out of my workshop which is elevated off the ground. A little alarming but manageable. I liked these so much that I ordered another set for a carpeted office area and they work great. They don’t get stuck in the carpet and roll with ease.

Smooth rolling, and super easy to use
As easy, if not easier to install than the stock casters, these wheels roll smooth as silk, and have great bearings. If there's a little something under them, they don't crunch like normal casters, and they're pleasant. If you have an office chair that rolls, I'd definitely encourage you to upgrade to these, especially if you're on a hard surface of any kind.

Excellent wheels for a hard surface.
Great wheels for my tile floor. So much better than the stock factory ones my chair came with.

Just What I Needed
I was going to get one of those large plastic pads to put on the floor under my chair but then I read reviews on those and people complained that you quickly find the edge of those when moving around. So these are definitely a great alternative. They make my office chair look much nicer, and it’s nice not having that huge plastic pad under my desk. They roll really smooth also and are universal. They’ve fit every office chair that I’ve tried them on. One thing to note is that they do raise your chair up higher which for me is nice. Great purchase, would definitely recommend.

doesn't turn on a dime on padded carpet but does lift chair more than 1 inch higher
so.. after looking at some of these type of replacement chair wheels i purchased these hoping to fix 2 problems1) my chair didn't slide smoothly when I'm trying to move it into or back from my deskand 2) I wanted to raise the chair about 1 inch higher than the height it settles into when I'm seated - so.. 1 out of 2 is what i got. In the home office space i use, the carpet has a nice pad underneath, by itself the carpet isn't high pile neither is it low but with these wheels, since they're narrower than the casters in my chair, smooth movement is out, carpet dents in :(BUT, they do raise my chair higher, so I'm happy about thatIn short, i think that wheels like these work best on low pile, low or no padding carpet, bare wooden or concrete floors or whatever hard surface your upon - anything else would be less than ideal. For linoleum, hard wood or laminates these would be an upgrade for sure - probably would move a lot better but in my case, it sinks deeper in and so moving about in the chair is worse than before - this isn't the products fault but a reality of my office space.Keep this in mind and you'd be happier with the results you should expect.
