Not worth the extra money. Stick with Bluefin UltraSlim
I previously owned the Slim BlueFin plate (the one that's around £139 on here) and I loved it other than the fact my unit had was really loud. After returning it I decided to spend more money on this (I paid £389) and so here are my thoughts. This model has 60 levels compared to the Bluefin Ultraslim's 180.It has 3 programs compared to the Ultraslim's 5.It's much bigger and much quieter than the Ultraslim. I can imagine you'd be fine using this in a flat. The machine comes with a nice thick fitness mat as well. It's very steady. My Ultraslim would vibrate around the floor if I stood off it when using Program 5. This is so solid that it stays in place. The watch remote is cool, you slap it against your wrist and it snaps around automatically. Bit annoying that if you want to go to level 60, you have to press the + button 60 times.....same as the other model, you have to press it 180 times if you want the top speed. Surely there should just be a 'max' button?Honestly, I'm disappointed. The Ultraslim REALLY shakes you and the levels get really intense, especially if you're doing a plank or push ups, your head will be shaking everywhere. This model just doesn't have the oomph to make me feel like I'm achieving much. It's a very gentle vibration, even on level 60 and you only really feel the side to side movement.Would I recommend it? No. If you're new to vibration plates, just get the Ultraslim and use Program 1 and 2. They're both very gentle and you can grow with the machine. I'm returning mine as I couldn't get my phone to connect to the bluetooth speakers and even though it is now £100 cheaper than when I bought it, I won't be ordering it at the lower price as it's honestly not better than the Ultraslim model due to the lack of power in the vibrations. You should also be aware that this is a big heavy machine and not something an elderly person will be able to pick up and move about easily.I'll be going back to the UltraSlim. Any questions, feel free to ask.

A wonderful machine.
My gift to myself arrived extremely well packed and quickly, but by crickey, was the package heavy; yes it was, as the machine is also, obviously so. This 'wobler' is not one to be moved from here to there and back again, as it requires lifting complete off the ground to me moved. The documentation is jolly good, as is the machine itself. I recommend this machine to anyone who can stand upright for ten minutes at a time. (Having said that, there are other exercises that one can undertake, if one desires. I think though, that the standing exercises are what most people buy these machines for.) I chose this one, specifically because I weigh over 120kgs, but not over the weight limit of150kgs, which this 'wobler' is designed to accomodate. My advice is not to do too much too soon. I foolishly started-off using this Bluefin every day, and I suffered for it, after only four consectutive days training. I'm totally unfit. What I now do, is train on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, just for ten minutes, which is how long the three programmes last for. I've been doing a different programme each day. There are of course lots of manual settings to suit one's own requirements. Lots of flexibility. When I've acclimatised to this new activity, I'll increase the days worked, and maybe the amount of times a day that I exercise, I'll play things by ear and NOT over exert myself.I tested the Bluetooth speakers. I found them very quiet and rather bassy, but that might just be me. Frankly, I wouldn't bother using them, it was just a test to see if and how they worked. I play music via my mobile phone which is sat on top of a cupboard, close to my ear level, and I find this far more practical and louder. I don't think headphones or ear buds would be workable, as the vibrations through the whole body are astonishingly high at times.Ah, the remote control. This is in the form of a wristwatch. The battery supplied required the safety strip removing prior to operation, however, it didn't seem to work. I removed the battery and tested its power. It was as dead as the proverbial Dodo! A replacement was fitted and the remote worked perfectly. No big deal! The strap is an odity. I don't use it as one would use a watch, I have it resting next to my phone, and only use it when required. ie to start the 'wobbler' once a programme has been set and the machine mounted. Once the strap was curled about my wrist, I found that the ends dug uncomfortably into my inner wrist. Having it around the other way, was equally uncomfortable. Wearing it for just 10 minutes seems pointless to me anyway. For me, as I mentioned, it's far easier to have it perched nearby. A settings warning. It is to be noted, (as I discovered), that on the 'manual' settings, the 'speed' requires setting, PRIOR to starting one's desired workout. It might be obvious to some, but for example, it can't be adjusted once the workout has commenced. I tried and couldn't do it!Flashing coloured side lights are purely a gimmick, but rather fun nontheless. If they were to fail, I wouldn't be the least concerned and I wouldn't have the issue repaired."Oh, the flashing knobs!", for the benefit of Allo, allo! TV show watchers in the UK. lolWell, that's about it. It's a great machine from a well known, reputable company. My specific machine, I'd recommend to anyone under 150kgs, but do remember that it's exceedingly heavy!

came back from being repaired - no change
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I had this plate since April and I loved it. Then a few weeks ago it started vibrating violently and making a loud clattering noise. I contacted the supplier and they arranged for its return. I also provided videos in my email. I had to take it to the collection point. Fortunately I have a husband to help me it would have been impossible on my own. I advised them that it was an intermittent fault. It came back quite quickly and worked however the next day it was unusable again. I suspect that they returned it without repairing it. I am very disappointed as being on lockdown it was a godsend

Like it
First thing that surprised me is the weight and shifting it around is a chore. The operation of it is straight forward and to be honest I thought it would have more on it but that is a minor gripe. Having never used one of these before I was disappointed in the exercise chart that came with it. I wanted more in depth with the information on targeted exercise like weight loss for example. Don't let the books fool you, there is just a few pages in English. The food book was interesting but then for someone like me who doesn't like Poultry, cooked cheese, avocado there wasn't a great choice but it was most welcome to have as you could substitute foods you didn't like for those you did, Pork for chicken for example. It is to early to tell if it is a good buy, only had a day, but from what I had seen so far it looks promising.
