Great mat and good size. Perfect for a full sized 73kg Dogue De Bordeaux and the puppies.

This is just great. I'm so happy to have found this mat and that the best price for it was here on Amazon.We have three large dogs (Collie/Lab x, Rhodesian Ridgeback and a GSD x) and all 3 fit on here laying side by side at the base of the sofa. As soon as I laid it on the floor, all 3 of them were intrigued and then laid down within seconds!Apart from the size, the microfibre top is thick and warm with each 'loop' of the pile being about an 1" thick. The back is plain fabric with anti-skip dots to prevent sliding, which is great on our tiled floor.There's red piping that runs around the edge of the entire mat. I did wonder if the dogs would want to nibble at the logo (it's a rubberised disc strongly attached to the top corner) but we've had it a couple of weeks now and none of them have paid it any attention at all.Last, but by no means least, the entire cover comes off for washing! If the manufacturer reads this, please shout about this feature as it's so important to us dog owners. The cover is kept tightly shut with a well sewn and strong velcro strip. The memory foam pad inside is more than thick enough to make it comfy and very warm.I'm going to look up the other products available from this manufacturer now as, if this is anything to go by, the other products will be good too. I hope they will decide to sell a replacement cover at some point too.For now, we are all very happy and would definitely recommend for your furry friends!

If it were possible I would give more than 5 stars for this. I've already had 3 of these in smaller sizes, but wanted a really big one (2XL) to go in the back of the car. I think this will cover all of it, right from behind the front seats to the back door.The fact that they stay put much better than other flat type dog beds and are reassuringly stable for dogs to stand on makes them ideal for this, with the added bonus that the twist pile helps to dry off wet dogs. I already know how well these last, how easy the cover is to wash and how nice they stay looking. Could not recommend more highly.

By far the best dog bed I've ever bought, my dog thinks so too. Because its made of memory foam it's heavier than the usual pad type dog beds which means it doesn't slide about like most of them do and it stays bent up to protect elderly shoulders from cold walls. The "twist pile" covering is extraordinary, very soft and because its not fleecy it doesn't get covered in stuck on dog hairs. Its nice to know that when winter comes I shan't have to worry about my dear old friend stiffening up on cold surfaces, I can't think of any way this product could be improved.

My little basket-hating dog loves this mat and went to sleep on it right away - no worries! It's made from the bobbly stuff that car-washing mitts are made of, which makes it incredibly soft and comfortable - much less likely to flatten down and go thin like fake-fur does. It has a soft memory-foam mattress and the cover is removable and washable which is unusual with the thinner type of dog cushion. There's a nice finishing touch of red border which matches the Pet-Face logo. A really worthwhile buy for nervous dogs who don't like to feel enclosed by baskets or are afraid of the movement caused by conventional cushions. I don't use this as a crate mat but just put it in the corner of the bedroom so that my pet can sleep near me and it has the added advantage of being thin enough to enable me to open and shut my wardrobe door without it catching. A great little buy and well worth the money.

Been using these beds for last 18months for my two labs they are the best beds ever girls love it the outer cover is great especially when wet weather sets in after long walks even stands up when they go to kennels have tried many a bed but nothing else is as good as this washes well and tumble drys brilliant won't sell it to much as I struggle to find sometimes now so ha ha

I would have given this 5 stars as comfort and design appeared fabulous until I tried washing it!!! Sadly the memory foam disintegrated. I then realized perhaps you’re supposed to remove the centre before washing the outside. There was no tag indicating this. I have now layered waterproof layers on top of this in the puppy crates as I don’t want to have to wash this again as it def won’t survive a second washing. The foam I managed to stuff back in and arrange in it’s broken form but it won’t stand being moved around much and definitely I won’t be able to remove it again in one piece.

Liked memory foam and soft well made cover.Would have loved this more if thicker mattress was availableI bought to use in dog crate and have used it over thicker mattress for better support. Dog seems happy!
