BABEYOND1920s Vintage Peacock Sequined Dress Gatsby Fringed Flapper Dress Roaring 20s Party Dress

Bought this dress for a 20's summer party. While it may not be a summer outfit, it was so comfortable, so fun...my friend and I ended up buying the same dress in different colors for the event (she bought blue, I bought maroon). We have very different body shapes - she's 5'9" and a size 6, I'm 5'5" and a size 12. But the dress was equally flattering on both of us. We both felt fantastic in the dress and are looking for excuses to wear them again.Dress was well made, with no issues at the seams. We danced and walked and sat for hours and there's no stress on any seams or hems. The sequined detail remained well attached without any frizz or loose threads. Fabric was good quality. An excellent value for the money!

This dress was great! Size large (I’m 5’2” and weigh 159, usually a size 12). It has a bit of stretch, side zipper and is very comfortable. I got tons of compliments at the great Gatsby event I attended. The price is very fair for this item.

Wore to a Monte Carlo 20's event & many had on similar dresses. This fit well, zipped easily, & looked great. Might have dropped a few pieces of fringe but could have been from the other similar dresses. Not sheer. The peacock motif went with an actual peacock vintage duster I also wore.

I am 5'10" 158 lbs and a 34" DD Bust and the (M) fit well through the waist hips and legs - loose around the bust. The skirt ended just over my knee (32" inseam) and the fringe just below the knee. SO Perfect!!First the bad; It's loose around the bust area. Also, I originally ordered a large based on reviews and it was way too big! No problem, very easy to exchange BUT the second dress I ordered (M) had loose threads and a couple beads fell off. That didn't happen on the first (L) dress. So that was a bummer. Removed one star for those.The GREAT! This dress is so beautiful. The outer shell is a nice heavy netting with the divine threading and bead detail. The under dress is a soft jersey-like material. It is NOT Chinese sizing so order what ever you would normally wear in your size! If you have giant boobs this dress is for you! If not, plan to have it taken in a little - totally worth it, especially at such an amazing price!It's beautifully made, fits well and has a nice unique design. I highly recommend!!

I am usually an 8-10 and ordered both a medium and large. I could have gone with either, but the M was a tad tight in the bust so I decided to go with the L for a bit more room which is also more in line with the 20s style. I felt very comfortable in this dress and was very pleased with the high quality fabric and embellishments. Highly recommended!

This is a Fabulously flattering dress! I wear a size 8/10 so I’d ordered the Medium. It was a bit snug, but fit. Sadly, as I’m also 6’2”, it was a wee bit short for my comfort. I’d ended up ordering the Large & am pleased w the length. The fit isn’t much bigger, so if you wear a 10/12, I’d say a Large would be fine for you.

I did a lot of research by reading reviews and looking at styles. I am REALLY happy with this purchase. I’m 5’5 juuuust about 200lbs and I purchased the 2XL. It is perfect! Not too tight, the design covers the tummy. The details are beautiful and it’s truly worth the price. I will definitely be wearing this to more than just the 1920s dinner party. It’s a smooth feelings dress. And I think I look damn good in it! So happy with the choice I made!

I purchased several flapper dress styles and this was the best one by far. I got my usual size, XL, and I did use Spanx, and it fit AMAZINGLY and nicely complemented my figure and the pattern hid my belly well. I have a smaller bust and wide hips and it has a bit of stretch and fit perfectly. I am 205 lbs and 5'2.5" for reference. I wish the blue slip was 2" longer so it would be the same length as the outer beaded shell. But it still worked fine. I received lots of compliments!

Excellent quality and very comfortable! The lining is very soft and great quality. I didn't need to use the zipper it fit so well! I plan on wearing this dress a few times and it should hold up extremely well!

A little nervous buying over the internet. I’m a size 18 and ordered a 3xl. It fitted perfectly and with a little room to eat as well. Well made and stunning design.

Found the measurements/sizing provided fairly accurate. I kept reading that people recommended to go up or down a size as the garment is stretchy. I'm an Australian size 12 and I bought M, L & XL. The large was a better fit but as I'm short, it was very long. Bought it for a Gatsby Christmas function and it was lovely. Although the garment is certainly a cheaper material made for a price point, overall the beading is well done and I am certainly going to get more wear out of it.
