I was excited to purchase the PENNLINE Quikrite PebL journal for my daily journaling needs. However, I was quickly disappointed with the quality of the product.Substandard Outer CoverThe outer cover of the journal is made of a low-grade material that is easily scratched and cracked. This makes the journal look cheap and unprofessional, and I am concerned about how it will hold up over time.Useless Expandable Rubber BandThe expandable rubber band is supposed to be useful for keeping the journal closed and for holding a pen. However, I found that it is actually quite useless. The rubber band does not hold the journal closed securely, and it does not hold the pen tightly enough to prevent it from falling out.Rubber Bands That Won't LastThe rubber bands that hold the notebook inserts in place are also of poor quality. One of the rubber bands broke while I was adjusting the notes, and I had to knot it to make it work again. I am concerned that the other rubber bands will also break soon.Overpriced Quickfill NotesThe Quickfill notes are of good quality, but they are overpriced. Additionally, they are a non-standard size that does not fit well with other A5 or A6 notes. This means that I will have to purchase additional PENNLINE Quickfill notes, which will further increase the cost of using this journal.Overall, I would not recommend the PENNLINE Quikrite PebL journal to anyone. There are many other high-quality pocket-friendly journals available that are made of better materials and have more useful features.
