75 AMP Powerpole Connectors (2 Sets) by Anderson

I put it in quotes because I'm not really sure what industry. They're the standard in amateur radio, and particularly emergency communications for 12-v applications. Properly installed, they can't be reversed. The contacts are completely enclosed, so accidental shorting is impossible. Self-cleaning wiping action on connecting and disconnecting. Impressive amperage rating.

Anderson PowerPoles are fantastic. This set is great for battery interconnects (such as in a photovoltaic bank connection to an inverter) and other high current draw connections. The 75-amp rating is actually conservative since they don't know exactly which wiring you are using (always use PURE copper wiring (not copper clad). The rating is really dependent on the AWG of the wire able to fit in the connector cavity and the wire jacket rating. Since we are talking DC connectors, don't forget to calculate your voltage drop due to gauge and length.

Absolute quality from these. My application required extremely reliable connection, minimal resistance and a small profile for tight space and these fit the bill. Worth the price.

I had a last minute requirement to hook up a power inverter at a show. I had forgotten where I bought the original set but was happy to get them here. The set doesn't come with the roll pins to permanently join the halves, but I had extras.

have not used these yet as the project is not that far along but with all Anderson products looks great and works perfect too.

No instructions on how to put together or which way the connectors are suppose to go, if I screw it up I'm suppose to buy more I don't think so, very unhappy with this purchase
