This ash tool is great for folks using Kamado Joe or Big Green Egg grills. It has longer reach than the included ash tool from Kamado Joe, and has a larger working surface to move more charcoal at once. Would buy again, but this one seems like it’ll last for a long time!

Poor threading, I just used this for the 1st the with my pizza oven and the handles would not stay tight. Loosened every time it was picked up and used in any direction. The rake end seemed o work well but that doesn't matter if the handles won't stay together tight enough to be used.

I found a small garden hoe that works better. It has a wooden handle but that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Works great to move hot charcoal around for my vision grill. Helps to move cold bricketts around to sweep ashes out of grill. Very sturdy, well made, good quality, should last for many years to come, and easy to store. Great price

I bought this because the pictures showed the blade welded directly to the rod. It also stated that the head positioned at a 115° angle to the rod. I liked this design better than most of the others I see on Amazon where the head piece is separate and crimped into the hollow end of the rod. But on arrival, thats exactly what this is. I don’t trust the longevity of this type of connection as much as a welded joint. Additionally, the blade is at 90°, not 115°, from the handle. This is just false advertising. I really don’t like being misled by pictures and descriptions that don’t match the actual item.

This is a great rake.

I bought this tool to move the coals forward in a wood burning insert and it does this OK. I also have been using it to scoop out the ashes from the front. For my application it would be nice if it was maybe 6 inches longer as I do feel the heat coming off the coals while raking them. That would probably make it too long to use as a scoop so I just need a tool I can use to scoop the ashes from the front edge of the fire box; same size head but with the handle attached on a short edge and a small lip on the long edges to hold the ashes.

Awesome little scraper for our pizza oven, love the golf grip and it’s well made. Only thing for me because we have a Cobb Oven is I could use one a bit longer.
