Peterson Real Fyre 18-inch Post Oak Log Set With Vented Natural Gas G45 Burner - Match Light

Great gas log set. I purchased this 5 months ago and we have used it almost every day. The burner puts out a lot of heat. We turn it up about 1/3 of the way in normal use and that setting provides flames that rise above the logs about 1 1/2 inch. Both the fire and the logs look very real. The logs are well made and heavy. The gas parts are also very well made. Although I had to run a short gas line this was very easy to assemble and install. If you are not confident about your ability to install and test gas appliances you should hire it done. I strongly recommend this gas log set

The media could not be loaded.  These gas logs are surprisingly large but fit perfectly in my standard manufactured fireplace. I measured the dimensions and followed the Peterson Real Frye specs on the manufacturer’s website to choose my log size and burner. They were easy to install, although I used a professional chimney sweep to install mine. I watched him and I probably could’ve done it myself. This set of gas logs has an upgraded burner which makes the fire look even more realistic. They were shipped in very secure packaging and arrived in perfect condition. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Easy setup, no broken logs. Very nice quality. Puts out about as much heat as it did when I burned wood. Looks like a real wood burning fire. Was very pleased. Fast shipping. Made for the gas line on the right side. Mine was on the left, just pull the cap and intake pipe and switch it around. Great product.

wanted a more real fire look so ordered the vented logs.........flames look ok but puts out zero heat. now I need to replace these with vented logs so I can at least get a little warmth out of it.

Easy install and very happy with the logs

Great quality and easy to install. I chose the upgraded burner which I think adds to the flame distribution in the front of the logs. Works great!

We have had our new fireplace logs for about 2 weeks, and we use them most nights. We had the logs installed; it would have been a big job, I think, to install them ourselves. We saved a few hundred dollars from the estimate by a local fireplace store for the logs, but for a better product. This set is a dual burner, so the fire is all around and between the logs, just like a wood fire. The G45 is recommended over the G4 on the Real Frye web site as more efficient. We went with a smaller log set and a better burner. It looks good.
