As a commercial photographer, I use a lot of rechargeable batteries, and this smart charger just blows me away. Since many of my critical equipment uses AA and AAA batteries, the chargers I've used in the past became a real bottleneck in my workflow, as I often run out of batteries in a shooting day. This smart charger is the first that not only keeps up with my work pace, but is so efficient that it charges in half the time my other charges can do.

I used it for the little solar lights i use outside. Worked perfectly.

Each battery has charge status indicator. This feature helps identify non functioning batteries.

Great little charger. Only complaint is compared to similar lesser capacity ones I’ve owned, the batteries aren’t held very tight in the slots so when I come back from a gig, the batteries are all scattered loose in my nanuk case

It didn't work the second time I went to use it. It was getting real warm and the screen was going nuts. I took the advice of another reviewer and opened it up, and resoldiered all the connections in the back were the batteries plug into. Lots of bad (cold) solider connections. PS: there are screws under the rubber feet. You have to take all the screws out to remove the back. Now it is working well and it's not hot.

Batteries are monitored individually. Able to recharge 12 x AA or AAA baterries at same time.With LCD I can see which batteries have been fully charged.

Excellent multi-bay battery charger. Auto-shutoff and over-current / over-charge protection.
